After Mallacoota, it was the home run… stopping at more favourites… McKenzie River Rainforest walk and Salmon Rocks, Cape Conran (very wild weather and very high tide made things rather difficult though) …

After Tathra, it was off to Mallacoota … Always a favourite area with great forest and beach walks…

After Mollymook, the next stops included Depot Beach, Pebbly Beach, Moruya and Wallace Lake Heights (to visit the Camel Rock beach), before stopping at Tathra …

Now on the return trip home, via the coast road with stops on the way… Headed for Jervis Bay area … Lovely beaches with white sand… Huskisson quite unusual with significant mangrove areas…
Hyam’s Beach …
Eden to Kangaroo Valley was a for and a half hour drive … It is a very pretty little village and we were staying just out of town, high in the hills, with brilliant views, wildlife everywhere, lyrebirds, wombats and even some alpacas. Stayed for 3 days and the weather was variable (mostly wet) but very beautiful and relaxing…
Eden was the next overnight stop after a long drive through East Gippsland …
Eden Wharf …
Time for a trip away… this time heading to NSW and Kangaroo Valley (near Kiama) via the coast road. It was a 2,400 km. return trip, so plenty of stops along the way were called for… starting with Stratford … always worth a walk along the river bed area…
